People that have published the work of Peter Hayes

Empire

A monthly magazine that takes a popularist look at the film industry on both sides of the Atlantic. The top selling UK film magazine and one of its most visited websites. Highly recommended for lay-out and writing style.

The Gemini News Agency

A small news agency based in North London that supports independent journalists from all around the world. Has a special interest in Third World developments, but syndicates features on a wide range of popular subjects. Full contact details - and story examples - can be found on the site itself. Update: Now closed.

Micro Mart

A weekly magazine dedicated to the UK computer scene and the longest running such magazine in the UK. Features news, views and special "how to" features; but is of special interest to those buying and selling computer related goods.

The Radio Magazine

A weekly trade magazine that focuses in on the small - but fast growing - UK radio scene. Nevertheless could be of interest to those with a special love for the medium and features associated technology news and job advertising.

Revolution

A UK trade magazine aimed at those involved in the Internet business and investors. A little on the thin side by normal standards, but has contact and subscription details. Now has a sister magazine in the USA which can be linked-to from the site itself.

The PC Mart

A biweekly magazine dedicated to supporting the UK PC computer user. The "Netheads" (Internet) section is written by this author and the magazine is very much news and views lead. Plenty of information for beginners and reviews most of the major software/hardware releases.

The Stage (UK)

An extremely long running weekly trade newspaper (100 years plus!) that supports the UK theatrical scene. Good place to read the latest news, views and reviews, but much of the text is aimed at industry professionals. Also covers television and film.

What Satellite Television

A monthly magazine dedicated to television delivered from low space. Is an independent source of information (it is not tied to any service provider) and features lots of news on the UK's fastest growing audio-visual medium. Reviews all UK-released hardware and lists all receivable services.
